RC-model MN78 1:12 customization. Part 2: the ending.

This is the last upgrade of this model. After that, it goes on the shelf and I will very rarely take it out.
Visual body customization: painting the front doors, front right fender and hood in different colors and imitating the installation of these parts from other bodies. And adding a rust effect to them. I only photographed the painting process of the front fender.
1. A simple but lengthy step that requires care: masking all parts that don't need to be painted.

2. The part is painted, the model is drying.

3. The first attempt to paint the hood was unsuccessful. After painting, I decided to speed up drying and put the part under an infrared lamp. But I got distracted and when I came back, the hood had already started to melt and warp.

I didn't like such result. So I found and bought a complete MN78 body, took a new hood from it and painted it white with a rust effect. This time everything went well. The work on this model is now completely finished. Photos of the final look of MN78:
