RC model Yikong 4105. Customization.

This is my first experience of such ungrade.
Initially Yikong 4105 was bought for a child - a simple and reliable model which has only portal axels from the bells and whistles. But the child somehow got cold feet on this topic and this model was lying around. So I decided to customize it because I didn't like to ride with such a body.

Yikong 4105 initially:

I made mud flaps on the chassis. Added aluminum side sill panels:

I bought Ford Bronco body with lights and bumpers very cheaply from the Huangbo Beluga model. But it was without interior. SoI decided to put it on the chassis of this Yikong. This was my first experience, so I filled in the bumps: I sawed, drilled, bent, and so on in a circle several times) I completely replaced the bumpers with "Beluga" ones. I decided to attach body only with magnets. Bought them several times until I found reliable. The model can be lifted by holding the body. At the same time, it is removed quite easily.
4.

Renew the body: polished, repainted the roof where it was black. Covered with film in some places. The bumpers were scalded, primed and painted. Also made interior.

Added fog lamps to the regular places of the bumper. I put the main light, roof light and the fog lamps on different additional channels (I don't need turn signals and stops, so do not connect them). The connectors are magnetic, they are very convenient:

Added to the body simulation things (boxes, sandtracks, tow bar, etc.) and Bronko emblems.
In my opinion, customization is very good for the first time. A kind of "Frankenstein". Some photos from the autumn trips:

I also replaced the wheels: remove standard ones, installed metal discs and Super Swamper 1.9 / 112x39mm tires.
And some photos from a winter trip. The new tyres are very good. But it's just like big cars: if you put the body into the deep snow, nothing helps you out, no matter how toothy tyres are:

In general, I am happy with the transformation: body and chassis are good now.And it's a good new experience for me for the future.
