Traxxas TRX4 Ford Bronko 1979
This is one of the most beautiful and scale-detailed models with a Lexan body. In principle, Traxxas is synonymous with quality and reliability. They produce durable models that drive for years. The chassis is one of the most advanced: a two-speed transmission, remote locking and unlocking of the differentials. The TRX4 chassis is very common. There is a lot of of spare parts and tuning for it, so you can fix it in every village )) No wonder the Chinese make so many clones of it. In short, nothing but advantages. There is only one downside: the unreasonably high price of the models and original spare parts.
1. The box is colorful and very large.

2. On one of the sides, all the model's features are listed.

3. As always, I started getting acquainted with the model by disassembling it and applying grease.

4. Techno-beauty.

5. For the first time in my memory, the transmission had a sufficient amount of factory grease, and I decided to leave it as is.

6. I changed the wheels.

7. Installed the interior and put in a driver figure.

8. Repainted the interior from black to light leather color.

9. Added some ambiance.

10. In the stock configuration, the model has no lights at all. And there are no extra channels for it on the transmitter either. So I had to buy an additional module with a remote control that turns the lights on/off.

11. Good thing the lighting preparation is there. I bought LEDs and inserted them into the stock locations.

12. On top I installed a roof rack with additional lighting. I wired its activation to a different channel than the headlights, taillights, and turn signals.

13. Added dashboard backlighting.

14. Added metal badges and painted the mirrors silver, like on the original vehicle.

15. Made various luggage items myself and attached them on top.

16. Installed underbody protection, a radiator behind the grille.

17. Also installed a bunch of little things that add scale realism: license plates, badges, exhaust pipes, mud flaps, metal sheets along the bottom of the body, a fuel tank (which is almost invisible), etc.

18. And some photos from drives.

19. In my opinion, this is the most beautiful model.

20. Even with the stock brushed motor, thanks to the two-speed transmission, the model can go very slowly or race through the forest, scaring its inhabitants.
